Heel Pain and Plantar Fascitis
Have you been suffering from heel pain or plantar fascitis? Is it hard for you to walk, run, workout, or just move around the house? Here are a few things to try at home that will help.
- Calf and Hamstring Stretches. It is very important to may sure your calf and hamstring muscles are not overly tight. Simply stretch for 2 minutes per side in the morning and evening.
- Golf Ball massage on your feet. Another great way to break up tissue in your feet is using a golf ball. Massage the bottom of your feet when you are sitting down watching TV in the evening or during the day. Focus on the really sore spots.
- Strengthen your feet. Simple balance exercises, like balancing on one foot (while barefoot) or crinkling up a towel or piece of paper will help strengthen these muscles.
