What is Wellness?
Wellness is one the buzz words we have been seeing everywhere for the past few years. Everyone seems to be using it, but what does it actually mean. The way I define whether something is wellness or not is whether is makes you healthier or sicker. And not just yourself but all humans. If something is truly "wellness" then everyone human that does it will become healthier. Not only will doing it make you healthier but not doing it makes you sicker. A simple example is clean water. All humans need an appropriate amount of water. If you drink what you are suppose to it help you, if not you become sicker.
Remember you are genetically designed to be healthy!! You must supply your body with what it need in order to be healthy. If you are supplying your body with things it does not need you will become sicker. You may not notice it immediately but at the cellular level it is always happening. You have requirements in multiple areas in your life including eating, moving, and thinking.
Make consistent healthy choices everyday! If you make a few bad ones, do not continue on this path. Once you realize it immediately made a healthy "wellness" choice.
